Organizational DNA & restructuring

Customer centricity, cost leadership or product innovation? These are often fundamental changes that go to the DNA of an organization. Human factors are key. If they do not change, the result is often cosmetic.

To get the organization along adjustments and interventions are needed based on a continuous dialogue between leaders and employees on what is necessary given where the organization is. But at the same time, business must continue.

So how do you ensure you can have this dialogue in an efficient and effective way? How can you know what is needed? How can you augment the expertise and knowledge in your organization to realise the change?

IT & Business Process standardization

Many organizations are standardising key organizational processes to be more predictable and in control.

This often means that the organization must also work according to new competences and/or with other proficiency levels.

New process descriptions and technology do not guarantee automatic adoption and needed behaviors.

In fact, reality shows that they almost never do.

How do you know if human factors progress in such a way that the new standardised organizational process will run as intended?

SHE & LGRC behavioral compliance

There are rules. And rules have to be followed. They often are a license to operate.

Think about laws and regulations. But also internal safety, health and environmental standards.

Human factors are a key component in whether organizations are compliant and follow these rules. Of course processes are needed. But ownership and pro-activity are needed to really embed these rules in the organization.

But how do you know whether  the organization is ready to comply? How would you know what teams need to really take it one step further?

Marc is a seasoned executive with a successful career in managing organizations across high tech services industries. In his view, dynamic human factors matter most to organizational performance. And they are no longer intangible and unpredictable. Measured in real-time and linked to organizational goals these dynamic human factors deliver new, unparalleled decision information. He sees an emergent generation of teams and leaders who use this information to reach their goals with much more success against much less hassle.   Clients describe Marc as being thorough and creative at the same time. He is intrinsically curious about the way people and organizations work towards challenging goals. Marc is active in Dutch field-hockey and likes to initiate spontaneous dining events with many friends at public outside locations.
Robert Jan has substantial experience in the field of change management & organizational performance. And he has an analytical background. Robert Jan is convinced that given the right information, organizations are often very capable of taking the right actions. Also in the field of dynamic human factors. His ambition is to build products, which give organizations deep, predictive insight into organizational patterns and which provide the information and guidance to grow and perform better. Robert Jan likes to create order out of chaos and make complex things simple and understandable. Of the best compliments he received from a client was that he is capable of grasping complexity and ‘bottom-line’ it to what needs to be done now and tomorrow. Robert Jan is an active sporter and likes to read and study. He is also an active Tai Chi practitioner.
Carl is a very experienced programmer with a business background. Carl always starts with the user and organization in mind, but knows to translate this to a well running platform. Carl has a clear ambition. Build the best user-friendly, intuitive platform in the world. Carl is at his best when everybody believes something cannot be programmed and build. Carl will proof, no matter what the time of day, that it is possible. He likes to meet clients and learn from them what works and what doesn’t work. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and on the golf course.
Arno is very experienced in creating user interfaces, dashboarding and reporting. Visualizing the data from information via knowledgde towards intelligence. Functionality and design are equally important in his view. Arno is passionate about Business Intelligence, creating reports and dashboards, which are natural and easy to understand. Arno is at his best when various types of data and information need to be combined so that the ‘story is clear’. At once, otherwise it is not good enough. Arno likes to spend time with his family, play golf, ride a Mountainbike in the summer and spring and speed skating in the winter.
